Bracketing and ISO

Canon PowerShot ELPH 330 HS and Iphone 6

PART 1 - Bracketing

ISO 3200  4.3mm  0ev  f/3  1/1000

ISO 3200  4.3mm  1ev  f/3  1/500

ISO 3200  4.3mm  -1ev  f/9  1/250

-What is bracketing and what settings did you manipulate on your camera, by what increments (in stops) in order to achieve it?
Bracketing is the process of taking three photos; One using the camera’s recommended settings, one intentionally underexposed, and one intentionally overexposed. The reason is simply to be sure you can get a good exposure from a subject that’s hard to meter.

PART 2 - ISO

Part 2 - A

ISO 200  4.3mm  0ev  f/3  1/40

ISO 800  4.3mm  0ev  f/3  1/125

ISO 6400  4.3mm  0ev  f/3  1/1000
-What was the effect on your other exposure settings when you change the ISO?
The only exposure setting that changed was the shutter speed that increased.

Part 2 - B

ISO 400  4.15mm  -0.92ev  f/2.2  1/15
ISO 400 worked best for this photo because it's a indoors scene and lets the stage lightning be appreciated.

ISO 200  4.15mm  0ev  f/2.2  1/30
This photo was taken during midday so setting the ISO to 200 worked best because there is no need for using flash.

ISO 32  4.15mm  0ev  f/2.2  1/278
Using the lowest ISO let me retain the most amount of detail and to have the highest image quality.
